Our history
In 2018, Sanjaya Pattiyage recognized the potential of digitally supporting the catering industry and developed the first systems to make businesses more efficient. With over 15 years of IT experience, he laid the foundation for customized digital systems. In 2020, René Ebert joined him, inspired by his professional experience in the USA and the growing need for digitalization in the hospitality industry. Together they founded Gastro Master. Since 2024 as a GmbH, Gastro Master has been supporting restaurants with flexible and efficient IT solutions to optimize processes and improve the guest experience.
Today, Gastro Master offers a comprehensive range of products, from customizable Apps up to commission-free Webshops, that help restaurateurs to work more efficiently and in a more customer-oriented way. The next growth step is already being planned for 2025: a TSE-compliant POS system, which is currently under development and will further enrich the Gastro Master product world.
